Integrasi Seni Origami dan Konsep Geometri Untuk Mendukung Pembelajaran Kreatif Siswa Sekolah Dasar : Kajian Literatur

This study uses a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative approach to examine the integration of origami art and geometric concepts in supporting creative learning among elementary school students. Elementary education needs to provide concrete, creative, and contextual learning experiences that enable students to develop skills while understanding learning concepts meaningfully. Origami is not only an artistic activity but also has a strong connection with geometry through the processes of folding, shaping, and observing various geometric elements. The data were obtained from 10 relevant scientific articles focusing on origami art, student creativity, geometric concepts, and mathematics learning in elementary schools. The data were analyzed through the processes of identifying, grouping, comparing, and synthesizing previous research findings based on three aspects: origami as an art and skill activity, exploration of geometric concepts through origami activities, and the integration of origami and geometry to support creative learning. The findings show that origami provides opportunities for students to create, explore shapes, and develop creativity. The folding process also enables students to recognize geometric elements such as lines, angles, plane figures, patterns, and symmetry through concrete and visual experiences. The synthesis indicates that integrating origami art and geometric concepts has the potential to create concrete, active, creative, and contextual learning experiences and provide teachers with an alternative way to connect art and mathematics learning in elementary schools.
